En 1985, Maître Dang émigre aux États-unis où plus tard on lui accorde la citoyenneté de ce pays.</p> <p>Maître Dang aide de nombreuses personnes à recouvrer la santé. Le nombre de personnes lui demandant de l'aide gratuitement augmente considérablement. A la demande de ses amis et connaissances et avec leur encouragement, le 20 juillet 1989, Maître Dang enseigne en Californie le premier séminaire de niveau 1 à un groupe de 27 étudiants.
